How Escrow Works — Step by Step
Payment Locked in Escrow
When you place an order, your payment is immediately locked in our escrow system. The seller can see the order but cannot access your funds. This ensures the seller is motivated to deliver a quality account.
Secure Account Delivery
The seller delivers the account credentials through our encrypted chat system. All communications are logged and can be reviewed by our support team in case of disputes. No external communication needed.
Verify & Confirm
You have 24 hours to test the account and verify it matches the description. Log in, check all features, and make sure everything works as promised. If you're satisfied, confirm the delivery.
Funds Released or Refunded
After your confirmation, the payment is released to the seller. If the account doesn't work as described, open a dispute and our team will review the case. Eligible purchases receive a full refund.
Dispute Resolution
If an account doesn't match the seller's description or stops working within the warranty period, you can open a dispute:
- Go to your order in the Dashboard
- Click "Open Dispute" and describe the issue
- Our support team reviews the case (typically within 24 hours)
- If the dispute is valid, you receive a full refund to your balance

How long is my payment held in escrow?▼
Your payment is held until you confirm delivery or the 24-hour auto-confirmation window expires. After confirmation, funds are released to the seller.
What if the seller doesn't deliver?▼
If the seller fails to deliver within their stated delivery time, you can open a dispute. Our team will review the case and issue a refund if appropriate.
Can the seller access my payment before I confirm?▼
No. The seller cannot access your payment until you manually confirm delivery or the 24-hour auto-confirmation window expires after delivery.
What counts as a valid dispute?▼
Valid disputes include: account not matching the description, account not working at all, account being recovered by the original owner within the warranty period, or seller not delivering.
How long do refunds take?▼
Refunds are processed within 24 hours of a dispute resolution. The funds are returned to your AccsBay balance immediately.
